Hot Wings is part of my expressive “hen-women” series — a collection that challenges how women are seen, shaped, and stereotyped. This particular piece bursts with heat and humor, mixing fiery tones with sharp lines and unapologetic curves.

With her beak raised and her chest bare, this hen-woman figure stares straight ahead, neither passive nor perfect — but powerful in her strange, sizzling form. The textured background of reds, greens, and yellows amplifies the emotional intensity of a subject who is part bird, part woman, and wholly unafraid to take up space.

This painting pokes at cultural expectations while celebrating the wild, surreal, and wonderfully weird parts of ourselves.
